The placement of its pieces creates propeller-like shapes that, when combined, gives the quilt top a repeat of circular movement. It is traditionally pieced and relies on half-square-triangles, half-rectangle-triangles, and regular sewing. Create the quilt in the two colour version for a more traditional look or go wild with five colours for a bold modern look.

The instructions are also provided to create the quilt by block for the maker who desires to make a scrappy quilt. A FPP (foundation paper piece) insert is included to replace the need for half-rectangle-triangles, if the maker chooses, but this is completely optional, and no knowledge of paper-piecing is need to complete the quilt. The pattern is 16 pages, printed in full-colour and saddle stitched with a soft laminate cover.
